Selection Tool & Track Select Tool Part 2

This is Kyle Saylors with Expert Village and I am talking about some of the basics of thetool bar. If you look on the lower left hand side, you are going to see your basic toolbar and this is your selector tool. The very basic of all tools, probably the most usedtool. You can use it to drop and drag out of the project window on to the time line. You can pull items around on the time line. Great tool. You are going to use this allthe time so get familiar with it. If you go down a little bit here, you are going to geta track selector tool. This is really cool but you got to be careful with it becauseyou can drag this one track. So if it is just track 1 that you want moved down way out ofthe way, you can grab just track 1. Let me pull out a little bit so you can see. Thisis about an hours worth of footage there on the line and I am just moving that whole trackcompletely across out of the way. Now if every thing is synced up, you don't want to do that. So I go to edit, undo. But now if you want to move everything on the time line evenly, then you go to that selector tool, the same tool, except you hit the shift button andyou go to the front of where you want to select. We'll just pull it to right here and let'ssee we hit the shift and now it grabs everything. So anything that is behind that line, youcan either drag it forward or drag it back. Now be careful dragging it forward becauseyou can erase right over what is in front of it. The selector tool and you hit the shiftbutton and it will be able to pull all of it back again, the first one and the secondone.
